This site is a database of visa timelines for K1 and K3 marriage-based visas.
If you have found your way here, chances are you are either applying for a K1 fiance or K3 spouse visa, considering doing so, or have done so in the past. You also probably know that the process is a long and seemingly endless one, one where the most commonly asked question is "How long will this take?" Unfortunately, there is little official guidance on the duration of this process. Thus, one of the best ways to estimate waiting times is by sharing visa timelines so we can see what the typical processing times currently are or have been in the past.
We are both in the middle of our visa petitions for our loved ones. And we have done our share of posting to the various bulletin boards and newsgroups to take informal survey of visa timelines from time to time. Although the results are helpful, it is not an efficient process for disseminating the information to everyone.
We have established this site as an easy way for everyone to share K1 and K3 processing time information. Hopefully, this database will be useful for you no matter what stage of the visa petition processing you are currently at, from waiting for a NOA2 from a service center to waiting for an Appointment Packet (formerly known as Packet 4) from the consulate. We have also provided some sorting and filter mechanisms in the database so that you can concentrate on the timelines that you are specifically interested in. For instance, you can filter your view so that you only see petitions processed by CSC and going to Ankara!
We welcome your visit and encourage you to share your timeline with all of us. We hope you find this database useful in keeping informed about the petition progress and making future plans for being with your loved ones.

This link will take you to the K1 visa and K3 visa timeline database. By default, you will see all available visa timeline entries. Click on the column headers to sort by that column. You can also filter on the specific timelines you are interested in. Simply click on "Show Filter" on the upper left hand corner, enter the criteria you like to filter in the form boxes under each column heading, and click 'Search'. |
